Wicked Winter Read-a-Thon Wrap-up

This was great fun, and I got to spend the weekend doing what I love to do - READ!!!

No, I didn't get everything done that I wanted to, but life does happen!  I spent some great time with my youngest daughter.  I did get one book completed (Across the Universe by Beth Revis) and a second one (Ties to the Blood Moon by Robin P. Waldrop)  almost completed - I should finish it after I get home from work.  I was able to review the book I did get completed, so that is a plus!!  I took part in 2 of the challenges - very creative.  I am sorry I missed the other ones, as they looked like fun.  I did go back and look at what was going on with these even though I didn't take part.

Thank you to the hosts of this challenge:  Bex @ Kindle Fever & April @ My Shelf Confessions - and to everyone else to helped and took part.  I really enjoyed my first official Read-A-Thon!!!!

Much better day yesterday & so far today with my progress in the Wicked Winter Read-a-Thon.  I spent the day off and on reading yesterday - only pausing to give my eyes a rest!!!

I finished my first book:  Across the Universe by Beth Revis (398 pages), and am now halfway through my second book - Ties to the Blood Moon (? pages -Words: 95457)  by Robin P. Waldrop.  I hope to finish this one today.  I'm really enjoying it, but my eyes are going crazy!!!!

I took part in 2 challenges:   Fight for Survival hosted by Rebecca @ Kindle FeverWintry Sentences hosted by Melissa @ Melissa’s Eclectic Bookshelf.

I am so glad I signed up to take part in the Wicked Winter Read-a-Thon.  This is fun!!!

Wicked Winter Read-a-Thon Progress (1)

Loving this Wicked Winter Read-a-thon, but did not get too much done yesterday.  I had to work - students before my books - of course!!!! Then, my daughter talked me into going to Applebees and then to the moves - The Woman in Black!!!  I enjoyed my time with her.  We had not gone out for a mother-daughter date in a while!!!

So, my stats are not great right now, but hopefully this day will be better!!  I plan to spend the day diving into my books!!!!

My goal: 2-3 books
Books read: 0
Pages read: 152
Approximate time reading: 3-4 hours on and off

Wicked Winter Read-a-Thon

#WWReadathon

The Wicked Winter Read-A-Thon is a time when we all get together to dedicate the weekend of February 3-5 to as much reading as possible. You read as much as you can in order to get yourself a little further through that huge to-read pile! There will be all kinds of challenges, and just all around fun.  Visit The Wicked Winter Read-A-Thon post for more information.

I really have some books I need to get done, and of course I have those that I just really, really want to read, but never seem to have time.  I am going to take time this weekend.  I just started a book last night:  Across the Universe by Beth Revis.  So, I hope to finish that one.  Then there is one for review:  Ties to the Blood Moon by Robin P. Waldrop & it sounds great!  Finally - if I get enough time, I'd like to start reading Undertow by Callie Kingston - this is another one for review, but also one that I am so excited to read.

Come join in on the fun!!!!
