Book Blurb: She has the guy. The terrorists have been taken care of. She has a shot at becoming popular. My Thoughts: Protected was AMAZING!!! After reading the first book in the series, Watched, I was anxious to read the next in the series. The story was fabulous, I was very wrapped up in the characters. With Protected, Cindy Hogan did not let me down. I felt like I had not left the characters.
Life is great!
Until they find her.
Now she must run and leave behind everything she knows, including herself.
After the whole ordeal in Watched, Christy thought she was safe, and that the terrorists were taken care of. When she got back home, she had high hopes that her life would change for the better. However, she came home, and the other students treated her just as bad, if not worse. She so could not wait until she was out of school.
Then one day after school, one of her friends from the Washington D.C. trip came to see her, she was so excited! - little did she know, now her life would never be the same.
I think the suspense in this sequel is even better than that of the first book. As drawn as I was to Watched, I was even more so to Protected. I could not put it down. I hated it so much when it ended. I absolutely cannot wait for the next in the series.
Cindy Hogan has a writing style that is so easy to follow. She draws you in from the beginning. She has the ability to build suspense unlike any other author I have read. This book is exciting, fast-paced, and leaves the reader yearning for more!!!!
