2012 Blogging From A to Z Challenge

This is such a neat idea!  The Blogging From A to Z Challenge involves posting a letter of the alphabet every day during the month of April (with Sundays off for good behavior).  The idea came from Arlee Bird, at Tossing it Out - so be sure to visit his blog.  There is a goal to reach 1,000 sign-ups by Thursday, March 1, so if you are even considering it, make up your mind by Thursday.

My blog is fairly new - started at the beginning of January.  I have taken part in memes, been involved in book tours, jumped into giveaway hops, and of course, post my book reviews.  I try to post other content from time to time, but have not expanded much yet.  I am hoping that this challenge will push me enough that I find myself and my blog growing by the end of April.

I hope that through the month of March as I am preparing for the Blogging From A to Z Challenge, that I can come up for some neat book related posts that go with each letter of the alphabet.  Seeing that I am also a teacher, I might also include some content that is school related.  I'd like to start including some content that includes teaching and learning.  I think that goes hand in hand with books - don't you?

I'd love to hear some thoughts and ideas from readers for my upcoming posts.  If you think of anything, leave me a comment.  The idea of being an interactive blog instead of everything coming from me would be much more fun!!!

  1. I did this last year, but I let my characters take over my blog for the month. Since all my books feature stock car racing, they defined racing terms. They also exchanged a lot of banter, which got interesting when characters from different books started talking to one another. Especially since one book is in current times, and the others are set in the eighties. You can read it here if you're interested. http://lisanowak.wordpress.com/2011/04/
Scroll down and start at the bottom, though, because the posts build on each other and incorporate the comments people left.
