I use the Google Reader website, and I also use the next applet on my Chrome browser bar that simply lets me hit "Next" and it takes to me to the next blog post in my reader that I have not read yet. I think this is the easiest way for me to hit most of the posts I want / need to read yet. I typically only go to the website if I want to add/delete a blog - or if I am not on my laptop.
Yeah, I have Google Friends Connect and Networked Blogs, but they just don't seem as convenient as Google Reader. I also get some blog posts delivered by email. These are typically the ones I absolutely do not want to miss, as I always go through my emails daily - several times a day. The one downfall with the emails is that they sometimes come hours after the posts are made, and sometimes I might not get a post until a day later.
So, what do you do to read the blogs you follow? Inquiring minds want to know!!!!!
I use Google Reader too. It also seems that I use it for the same reasons as you do. It is simple and gets the job done for me. I've tried the Linky one, the Networked Blogs one also. I also add subscription feeds to it for the blogs I follow that do not use Blogger.
ReplyDeleteI use Wordpress to blog, and it comes with a built-in reader. It's very convenient, and they recently changed it to let you follow non-Wordpress blogs.

ReplyDeleteNew Follower from Book Blogs, Thanks!
I've started using Wordpress and Google to follow some blogs, but the ones I want to try to get to everyday are just bookmarked in my favorites.
ReplyDeleteJust swinging through A to Z. Good luck with the rest of the challenge.
